HOMEPAGE

Dear My Friends,
On this small planet, in the daily dreams of our life, beneficial deeds are always recommended, simply because we are all born to help each other.

By sharing our love with different expressions and through the practice of generosity, morality and understanding, we will then be fulfilling our purpose of being members of the human race.
Sincerely yours

His Holiness The 12th Gyalwang Drukpa is the spiritual head of the Drukpa lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. One aspect of his compassionate activity has been to instigate and oversee several charitable humanitarian projects. The London based, UK registered charities set up by His Holiness to help with these charitable humanitarian projects are the Drukpa Trust and Drukpa UK.

This website is to provide information on His Holiness’s humanitarian projects. The aim of these projects is to help his monastic community to survive and to rebuild the Drukpa monasteries; to give educational facilities for the people and preserve their culture; and to provide medical care for people from all walks of life.

The projects to be helped at the moment are: The Namdruk Monastery Restoration; The Amitabha Nunnery in Nepal and a Tree Planting project in Ladakh.

These web pages serve as a central information point for these projects. Clicking on the categories above will yield more information about the individual projects and details on how you can help. This site also provides web addresses of places to gain more information of His Holiness’s worldwide work.
